Here is our simple Gua Sha routine:
Directions: Wash face and hands thoroughly. Apply a facial oil to face and neck. Holding Gua Sha tool at 15 degree angle to the face, gently glide the tool upwards and outwards away from the face 5-8 times per section.
Tips: Use light pressure, the tool should glide not drag. Use smaller curves and edges for eye sculpting. Wash your Gua Sha after use. This tool can be also be used on: Neck, Shoulders, Stomach, arms & hands, legs & feet.
Overall, this process should take you 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Depending on your routine, you can take your time and do it slower, enjoying the process of this skincare and self-care ritual. Once you are practised and have mastered the strokes, Gua Sha is a great way to end your day as a moving meditation, letting go of all the stresses and readying yourself for rest time.
