Our Practice Rules

To ensure appointments run safely, smoothly and on time, we kindly ask all patients to observe the following:

• Patients must provide an accurate and up-to-date medical history and list of current medications. This information is vital to ensure your appointment can be carried out safely and appropriately.
• Late cancellations and non-arrivals: Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice or non-arrivals will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
• Late arrivals: Patients arriving more than 5 minutes late will unfortunately not be seen and the appointment will be charged as a late cancellation.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. These policies help us provide the best possible care while ensuring much sought after appointments are available to all patients.

Complaints

All treatments, products and offers are subject to availability. Podology have the right to refuse treatment without explanation at any time. Complaints can be made verbally during a face to face appointment or be made via the telephone 01287 622280 or in writing to the Manager:

Complaints are not monitored on any of our social media accounts. Should you require a quick response, please call the telephone line during stated opening hours or send your complaint into the above address.

Zero tolerance policy 

Our staff have a right to care for others without fear of being attacked or abused. To successfully provide podiatry services a mutual respect between all the staff and patients has to be in place. We aim to treat our patients courteously at all times and expect our patients to treat our staff in a similarly respectful way. We take any threatening or abusive behaviour against any of our staff or patients seriously. If a patient is violent or abusive including, but not limited to verbal abuse, (such as over the phone) they will be asked to stop. If they persist, we may exercise our right to take action and reserve the right to remove those clients from our client list and refuse any further treatment. This is to help protect our staff and patients.

Podology will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including without limitation, loss of profit) of any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and or services to the client. It is a clients responsibility to ensure that he or she provides us with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. Podology will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the clients failure to disclose such details. The client agrees to comply with all instructions and or recommendations given to them by or on behalf of Podology regarding to the care of a treated area.
