We can hardly believe we are half way through June and have just had the longest day! It’s been nearly 3 months since the return of skin and beauty treatments at Podology and we have enjoyed having the full team of podiatrists, beauty therapists and front of house staff – back together. Our podiatrists are very busy currently as people return for treatment after shielding during the pandemic. We strongly advise you make an appointment as soon as possible and schedule in your regular future appointments to avoid disappointment. The beauty diary is also filling up fast as people choose to pamper themselves after this rather traumatic year! With some fabulous NEW skin diagnostics and facial treatments available – we have really upped our game! Visit our facial treatment page here and find out more ; https://www.podology.info/facial-treatments/

ENDYMED Instagram LIVE

Last Friday we did an INSTAGRAM LIVE with Jenny the Endymed expert. Jenny spoke to our audience about Endymed Radiofrequency treatments and why they really are the answer to give you a non surgical facelift – naturally! All while our lead therapist Amy carried out a treatment to show you how it works. A typical course of treatments is 4 x weekly and 2 x fortnightly treatments. From the age of 25 our collagen production begins to slow down. This treatment heats up the tissue to around 40 degrees which triggers a response in collagen production. Creating lift and plumping of the skin as well as a natural glow! The instagram live was also an opportunity for those watching to ask questions and there was some great ones! Here is the link to rewatch the LIVE – its very informative if this is a treatment you are considering! https://www.instagram.com/tv/CQRIa8fqg4x/?utm_medium=copy_link

Since joining our team she has trained in SWIFT verruca treatment and Clearanail fungal nail treatment. COVID-19 Procedures update

The clinic has been running really well with our covid-19 procedures. We now operate with each staff member working from a room. We have removed our express treatment area. We have space between waiting area chairs and screens segregating them. We have windows open in rooms where available, We use HEPA fans when a window isn’t present and we have ceiling ventilation in each room allowing exchange of air constantly. All rooms have sneeze screens available for use too. We are committed to sanitising touch points such as door handles, reception desks etc regularly. We use Trionic and Clinell products to clean down our rooms after each treatment. We have invested in more bedding and towels for skin and spa treatments – so the bedding is removed and washed between clients. Let’s remind you of what will happen at your appointment:
